The build process
The build process for a wooden hot-tub depends entirely on which route you decide to take.
Pre-built Wooden Hot-Tub
If you're looking for an off the shelf wooden hot-tub, our sales team will be able to walk you through the options available where we will take care of everything from product order, delivery, installation, commissiong and aftercare. Their is some consideration needed if you're planning on adding some landscaping to your project, such as adding decking, stone flooring or anything else surrounding your hot-tub, all of which our team are able to manage.
Wooden Encased Hot-Tubs
You might have found a hot-tub that fits your requirements perfectly, whether that's size, price, additional features etc but it doesn't come with a wooden finish. In this case, we're able to take the hot-tub and create a wooden casing around it to give it the desired finish. For this type of project there is more planning and construction required as we would need to take into consideration the materials needed to ensure it blends with other decking you may have, or if it's going to be built free standing then we may need to excavate the ground, add a base and then built around this.
In either case, reach out to one of our team of consultants where we can answer any and all hot-tub questions you may have.
Aftercare
Our wooden hot-tubs all require the same aftercare as our traditional hot-tubs, this being:
- Regular Cleaning: One of the most important aspects of hot tub maintenance is regular cleaning. This includes skimming the surface of the water to remove any debris, scrubbing the walls and floor of the hot tub, and cleaning the filter. How often you need to clean the hot tub will depend on how frequently it is used and how many people are using it.
- Water Chemistry: It's essential to maintain the proper balance of chemicals in your hot tub to ensure that the water is safe and comfortable for users. This includes monitoring the pH and alkalinity levels and adding chemicals as needed to keep the water balanced.
- Drain and Refill: Over time, the water in your hot tub will become saturated with minerals and other impurities, which can affect the water quality and the performance of the hot tub. It's generally recommended that you drain and refill the hot tub every three to four months to maintain water quality and freshness.
- Equipment Maintenance: The various components of your hot tub, such as the heater, pump, and filter, will require regular maintenance to ensure that they operate properly. This might include cleaning or replacing the filter, inspecting and tightening connections, and checking the performance of the various components.
- Cover Maintenance: The hot tub cover is an essential component of your hot tub, as it helps to keep the water clean and maintain the temperature. It's important to clean the cover regularly and to replace it if it becomes damaged or worn.
By following these guidelines and working with a qualified and experienced hot tub technician, you can help ensure that your hot tub remains in top condition and provides years of enjoyment for you and your family.
